Warren Ross Grouting Terms & Conditions

Customer’s responsibility

The customer agrees to ensure that the work site is not used after the early evening, or preferably for a full 24 hours prior to the commencement of work, to allow the area to be dry and suitable for regrouting. Failure to comply will result in a rebooking fee of 10% of the total invoice amount.

 

Terms and Conditions

Throughout the T&Cs, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Warren Ross Grouting. 

(a) All orders placed with Warren Ross will only be accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions.

 

(b) The customer is bound by these Terms and Conditions if the customer:

(i) places an order for the product/s or works.

(ii) Sign/accept any quote for work.

(iii) pays any deposit.

(iv) continues to provide instructions and/or accepts the product/s or works.

 

(c) Warren Ross Grouting may, at any time, alter these Terms and Conditions by providing the customer with at least one (1) day’s written notice and the altered Terms and Conditions will supersede any previous Terms and Conditions.

 

(d) Warren Ross Grouting is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and diligence in delivering our services. While all reasonable steps are taken to minimise risk, unforeseen incidents may occur. If damage is directly caused by our work, we will make every reasonable effort to repair or rectify the issue to an appropriate standard. However, we do not accept liability for any pre-existing damage or damage that is unavoidable in order to complete the agreed scope of works (which will be communicated to the customer where necessary). Prior to commencing services, all pre-existing damage will be documented with time-stamped photographs and confirmed with the customer.

(e) It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the suitability and condition of the tiles before the commencement of any services provided by Warren Ross Grouting.

 

(f) Any visible chips, cracks or damage to tiles that are identified before the commencement of our services, should be brought to our attention in writing before the start of work. Failure to notify us of any pre-existing damage releases Warren Ross Grouting from any liability for such damage.

 

(g) Warren Ross Grouting will issue a formal confirmation one day before the commencement of work, providing any pertinent instructions for the customer to follow in preparation for the scheduled services.

Pricing

(a) Warren Ross Grouting reserves the right to amend the total amount stated in the quote in the event of any errors or omissions, even after the quote has been accepted by the customer.

 

(b) Prices quoted are subject to a final assessment by Warren Ross Grouting if the customer requests any additional work that falls outside the scope of the original quote.

 

(c) The quote shall remain valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Upon expiration of this period, Warren Ross Grouting reserves the right to provide an updated quote.

Deposit

Upon acceptance of the quote, a formal invoice will be issued to request the booking deposit. We kindly request that the deposit be paid within 48 hours of accepting the quote to ensure a smooth scheduling process. Please make alternative arrangements with us if this cannot be done.

(a) Warren Ross Grouting requires a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total quoted amount to be paid upon acceptance of the quote, prior to the commencement of any work.

 

(b) In the absence of the required deposit, the commencement of work will be deferred until such time as the deposit is received by Warren Ross Grouting.

Please follow the instructions on the invoice to pay the deposit. 

Cancellation

(a) The customer may cancel the works by providing Warren Ross Grouting with at least two weeks’ notice, which will be confirmed in writing by Warren Ross Grouting.

 

(b) All deposits for grouting services will incur retention of the deposit by Warren Ross Grouting.

 

(c) In the event that Warren Ross Grouting needs to postpone the booking, we will provide the customer with as much notice as possible. A new date and time will be arranged accordingly. The deposit will be retained by Warren Ross Grouting and reallocated for the rescheduled booking date.

Terms of Payment

(a) All works must be paid in full on the day of completion.

 

(b) If the customer fails to make payment in accordance with the invoice, or does not have an alternative arrangement confirmed in writing by Warren Ross Grouting, then Warren Ross Grouting shall be entitled to any of the following remedies:

(i) Discontinue any further work until payment has been received;

(ii) Claim from the customer all costs associated with any action taken by Warren Ross Grouting to recover amounts due, including, but not limited to, any legal costs and disbursements incurred;

(iii) Cease any further work for the customer and/or terminate the Terms and Conditions in relation to outstanding works or products.

Warranties

(a) Warren Ross Grouting offers a 12-month warranty on all labour, agreeing to replace or remedy any defective works, subject to these Terms and Conditions, at no additional cost to the customer. The customer agrees to contact Warren Ross Grouting as soon as reasonably possible as per the Post Work Communication & Support terms.

 

(b) All products installed by Warren Ross Grouting are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, which is subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the manufacturer.

 

(c) This warranty will be voided under the following circumstances:

(i) If the defect or damage arises from the customer's failure to properly maintain any products or to adhere to the instructions or guidelines provided by Warren Ross Grouting; cleaning & maintenance information can be found here: https://www.warrenrossgrouting.com.au/faqs

(ii) If the customer misuses or negligently maintains any of the products/works as specified in the quote or as instructed by Warren Ross Grouting;

(iii) If the customer continues to use any of the works after a defect has become apparent or would have been apparent to a reasonable consumer or operator.

Post-work Communication & Support

Should the customer have any questions, concerns, or require clarification regarding the completed works, they agree to contact Warren Ross Grouting as soon as reasonably practicable via email, phone, website contact or SMS.

 

If a response is not received, the customer agrees to make a further reasonable attempt to contact Warren Ross Grouting using an alternative method of communication.
